H1N1 Virus Kills 75 People in Hongkong

Hongkong – Swine flu virus or H1N1 that infected the Hong Kong territory, reportedly killing one another death toll from the virus. Up to now, has been recorded as many as 75 people have been killed by the virus, Saturday (20 / 3)

A patient 43-year-old man went to United Christian Hospital on Thursday, (18 / 3). He suffered the common cold during the week. Then he positively confirmed H1N1 flu virus a day after being in the hospital. The patient was immediately isolated to specific clinical treatments on the same day, and addressed to the Tamiflu medicine and antibiotics. The patient’s health condition is increasingly declining and he died on Friday (20 / 3) night.

The case has been reported to the Office of the Hospital Center and the Center for Health Protection of Hong Kong. Swine flu cases reported in Hong Kong began in January after a sharp increase was recorded. The increase was seen from the number of patients coming flu clinics to reach 1673 people, according to health authorities in Hong Kong.

From a number of patients had symptoms of swine flu, recorded 106 patients tested positive for H1N1 virus is treated in some public hospitals. A total of 106 swine flu positive patients consisted of 86 in a stable condition, five in serious condition, and 14 patients were in critical condition.
