Hillary Clinton’s visit to Pakistan

Hillary ClintonU.S. Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, Sunday (18/07/2010) visit to Pakistan to conduct strategic negotiations aimed at improving bilateral relations and stressed collateral support the war in Afghanistan.

She is expected to meet with Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and President Asif Ali Zardari in the evening, a day before conducting talks with political officials, military and business leaders Monday.

Hillary Visits are planned to be negotiating with several high-ranking military and civilian. In addition to promises of economic assistance, Washington would expect to show a general skepticism, that the U.S. is a reliable partner in the struggle against the Taliban.

U.S. officials did not explain in detail the visit of Hillary, because the sharpness of her arrival came amid security concerns following a wave of suicide bombings and militant attacks in Pakistan.

Security will be tightened during her visit in Afghanistan, because Hillary will also take part in an international conference on Tuesday.

The conference was intended to reinforce the promise of Afghan President Hamid Karzai, to continue more responsible for security and governance in the country ahead of the target of U.S. President Barack Obama started to pull U.S. troops in July 2011.
