Ryanair will sell standing tickets for £5. Ryanair airline was waiting for permission the placement standing area from aviation safety authority of Ireland. Low-cost airline that plans to sell “standing tickets” for passenger short distance routes.
If the proposal permit application filed on July 1, 2010 and approved, Ryanair immediately dismantle approximately 10 rows of seats in the rear cabin to be a special room for the passengers standing.
Ryanair Chief executive, Michael O’Leary, said the areas with the backrest vertical stand will be provided in the 250 fleet. During the trip, passengers should stand because it will not get a seat as airline service in general.
Still, that does not mean passengers have hung like standing on the bus or train. Each passenger will receive a backrest which is equipped with safety belts. Although standing, will remain bound passenger seatbelts.
Ryanair will be selling the tickets stand ‘was worth £5. And to reduce the movement of passengers, Ryanair will charge £1 to passengers who want to use the toilet facilities.
